Who we are.

The St. Andrews Society is a cultural organization, which promotes learning of Scottish culture, music and dance.

The St. Andrews Society of Dayton promotes the growth of Scottish organizations, including the St. Andrews Highland Dancers, The St. Andrews Scottish Pipe Band and the Scottish Country Dancers. We support and host Scottish events, such as an annual Burn's Night Supper in January, and a Kirkin' o' the Tartan in the spring. Together, we all manage to have a lot of fun!

We meet monthly, thoughout the year, at varoius locations. Meetings are usually the third Sunday afternoon of each month. We are always looking for interesting places to visit and unique ways to enjoy Scottish heritage.

We are officially recognized by the IRS as a Charitable Organization under Code Section 501(a) as an organization described in section 501(c)(3). Donations to the Society of goods or money, free of tangible benefit to the Donor (or reduced by the amount of any tangible benefit to the Donor) are decductible as Contributions for Income Tax purposes. Also qualified under 509(a)(1), our Membership Dues are considered deductible as Charitable Contributions.
